Here's just a cheery note to you’ “Bl yours before Christmas to wish you every last’ possible good thing all here can send you. I would like you to know that lirs. Ferguson joins me in all good wishes to you all. I am attaching a cheque, about which you know, and I do hope your Christmas will be very happy. I would also like you to know that you are very often in our thoughts. Again and again I keep wishing you were with us because of the beautiful problems we are solving all the the time, for the future, and in which you would revel. Sometimes I want to write you and give you something to think about and do but that really is impossible. No sooner would I have written you on the problen, for example, than the problem might change or be solved or eliminated and, really, correspondence is impossible. If only you could live over here, by Jingo, you would have lots to do! I am glad to tell you that all is going splendidly. The new transmission is, I hope, in its final tests am we are thrilled to death with it. It is now more efficient than an ordinary gearbox judging by the fuel consumption, and the acceleration is phenomenal. Do let me know if you have any interesting W. J. Sands, Esq.
