My dear Willy Cn ’ : on fi Atul ink , Thank you, very much, for your very interesting letter of April 13th unavoidably held over because we have been so busy here. We had a very big day here last Tuesday with one of our largest British manufacturers and I thought a few details of what we are up against, and what we did, would be of great interest to you. We worked right through from 10 a.m. until 6 p;m. The day was a very, very happy one and everything went with tremendous success. This time we had to go into competition not only with the Hillman Husky but, also, with the Volkswagen. We also had such cars as the new Austin A,90, Ford Zephyr, Hillman Minx, and others. Not one of these vehicles could compete for a moment in the various tests we carried out, including the following:- (a) Road test, (b) Swamp test, (c) Military tests, (d) Comfort and stability tests, (e) Brake test, (f) Transmission test.
